I have feeling we have a successor to the famed Pedro Almodovar in Tom Ford. The lusciously shot film has powerful moods set most of the time. The framing and erotic backdrops makes for a super charged film. It surely leaves its mark on the audience.
The film had received a lot of rave reviews in the festival circuit. This is a sure shot best picture nomination. They really don’t have to put their heads together for this one. But even though horribly thought of Precious will turn into major contender for the Oscars.
This is certainly going to be one of those films that will change the way we look at aspects of film.
