The cast of the X Men has been growing in the last couple of days. Rose Byrne has joined the mix. She is in negotiations to play Moira MacTaggert. This is the biggest film Mathew Vaughn has ever attempted with such a huge cast.
She will play the love interest of James McAvoy Professor X. She was also seen briefly in the X Men 3 film. Moira is not a mutant, but she is a scientist who studies mutants and it an authority on genetic mutation. Byrne can really make the series more accessible.
Jason Flemyng just joined the cast. He will play the father to mutant Nightcrawler. Vaughn has sized up a great cast for the most anticipated film in ages. X men surely needed a reboot after the mess the last two did for the series and the comics.
