Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut gets couple of new clips. The film has got some decent reviews and has also got behind Ellen Page for a really good performance. She seems to get better with each performance. The Juno hysteria has not really got to her.
Whip it centers on Bliss Cavendar, a Texas Tennager who finds a way of dealing with her misery by joining a roller derby league in Austin. The film has some really good supporting cast in Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon, Marcia Gay Harden, Juliette Lewis, Kristin Wiig and stuntwoman Zoe Bell.
The clips seem to be a mixed bag but I think they live up to the spirit of the movie. The film’s story will be the interesting part of the film. Drew Barrymore could go all and out commercial with this one or just out of the blue have a human voice. check out the clips after the jump
