Dustin Lance Black is already working on his new feature film. But he is also interested in writing and directing 3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man into a feature. The film will be produced by the people behind Hellboy 1 and 2. Black’s directorial debut was another independent called What is Wrong with Virginia. It has a really good cast also.
The new film 3 Story is a modern fable, exploring the life of a giant man, Craig Pressgang, whose strange medical condition causes continuous growth. The tale is told from the point of view of three women – his mother, wife and daughter. It follows Craig’s journey from birth to his eventual three storey height. It explores loneliness and love’s changing nature. Blak’s tale will focus on the father daughter relationship.
This will be really something intriguing to see Dustin Lance Black behind the lens for this film. It is going to get a really eerie big screen adaptation and we will wait and watch for it.
