How? Where? What? She has just probably got out of a horrible experience of getting a terrible director do her new film Jennifer‘s Body. The director has sort of destroyed Diablo Cody’s career to a certain degree. But there is news that Diablo Cody will be adapting Sweet Valley. But this might turn out to be a lot better than the previous mistake. The thing with Diablo Cody is her acute ear for dialogue. A good director could catch up on that and make something great.
The book is too girly for the screen perhaps. But Diablo could rotate it on its head. There could be several revelations if it done with good intention. But how many people will go out and watch this one is still under the radar.
