Red has really not got buzz worthy till now. The last trailer failed to give us anything worth waiting for. The film looks quite different from the Warren Ellis comic from which it is based on. But this new trailer gives a reason to smile. John Malkovich channels some of the energy he left at Burn After Reading to make a really good character.
Summit have been showcasing the film at Comic Con and several stars turned up for the function. We had Bruce Willis, Warren Ellis, Helen Mirren and Karl Urban. So from there the new trailer came out. In this one we get to see a lot more interaction between the central characters John Malkovich and Bruce Willis. They also show some of the special effects used in the film. So some of the realism from the graphic novel is somewhat thrown out of the window.
