Tom McCarthy finds his cast finally

Tom McCarthy lines up a great cast for his next film Win Win.

Melanie

Tom McCarthy has a really sly role in the Wire. The role defined him as a character to reckon with. He also made to really good movies in The Station Agent and The Visitor. Both of these films had some spectacular performances from the actors. One of the most unforgettable moments was when I saw Richard Jenkins facing up to the people who have extradited his friend.

Cinema feels like art only when it explores the reality of the human condition. Tom McCarthy is a man of many talents. He just recently was conferred with Best Director at the Spirit Awards. People were surprised by this. I guess most of them have not seen the beautiful movie The Visitor. The Visitor was a brilliant take on waiting and loss.

Now Tom McCarthy is all set to direct his next film called Win Win and he has brought in Paul Giamatti to plays a fake high school coach. He then becomes the legal guardian of an elderly client and when the old man’s teenage son runs away, Giamatti’s character’s family ends up taking him in.

After that the film steps up a gear when the young boy joins a wrestling team and then it takes the territory of hope. But through the sensitive lens of Tom McCarthy it will play out beautifully. Now some of the new cast added to the film is Melanie Lynskey, Bobby Cannavale and Jeffrey Tambor. The film already has Paul Giamatti and Amy Ryan playing pivotal roles. So this will be something to watch out for.

John

John has a keen sense of what ticks in the world of film. He can also be seen in three distinct short film titled Woken Shell, The Tea Shop in the Moon and The Waiting. Cinema has been the basic diet he has been on for the last 10 years. His personality can be judged by the choices of his films.
