Sarah Polley has been hard at work behind the camera for a comedy called Take this Waltz. The film has already started production this July in Toronto. The film is expected to come out in Sundance next year. Sarah Polley brought out her debut Away From Her couple of years ago and showed a lot of character with such a beautiful story about an old couple coping with Alzheimers disease.
The cast of her new film is Michelle Williams and a Canadian love interest in Luke Kirby. The film revolves around Michelle Williams character who meets Daniel. Their chemistry is really intense and immediate. But Margot suppresses her sudden attraction for the man. She is happily married to Lou a celebrated cookbook writer. When Margot learns that Daniel lives across the street from them; the certainty about her domestic life shatters.
She and Daniel steal moments throughout the steaming Toronto summer, their eroticism heightened by their restraint. Margot finally gives to the desire and finds out some difficult truths about her. Take This Waltz leads us to question about love, long term relationship and the images of ourselves.
