Sam Worthington locked for Dan Dare

Sam Worthington is all set to don the suit of Dan Dare next.

After the release of Avatar, and then Clash of the Titans, there is really no stopping Sam Worthington, he just keeps rising his star status. He is now joining Warner Bros for Dan Dare. So he will be putting on the Dare’s uniform. The popular character began his quest in the early fifties. Dan Dare appeared in comics, on the radio, in video games, and was adapted by the BBC as well.

Garth Ennis took over the honors for Dane Dare and put the character into the magical future of the nineties. Ennis story takes place a few years after the original story ended. Worthington has already revealed that the film will be based on Ennis’ version.

Worthington will be joined by the producer of Clash of the Titans for this one. His next movie The Debt will be coming out in December.
