Sam Worthington goes to Surf in Australia

Sam Worthington gets too many offers lined up for the future. He looks like the new Tom Cruise.

Worthington has too many projects lined up after all the success of his last couple of movies especially Avatar. He has already signed on for a Dracula film with Alex Proyas called Dracula Year Zero. He also plans to surf in Australia in a small budget film called Drift.

The film will be inspired by facts story of how surfing evolved from a pastime to a global industry, spawning household names such as Billabong and Rip Curl. Worthington will play a photographer who started out this revolution.

Worthington is an avid surfer. He would have signed on this project just because of that. The film will begin shooting next autumn, which means next Spring up here in North America. This is to ensure the film will get to see some of big waves, moodier skies and, the Margaret River Pro surfing event.

The addition of Sam Worthington will bring a lot of buzz towards the project. We will have to wait and see if this buzz is unwanted or not.
