The film many women have been waiting for. Robert Pattinson has been hard at work ever since he got free of shooting for the Twilight series. He will be next seen alongside Uma Thurman, Kritin Scott Thomas, Christina Ricci and Colm Meaney. The film was shot on location around London and Budapest during an eleven week shoot. Shooting got over on April 22 nd. So right now it is in the production stages.
The film is directed by Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod, the film is an erotically charged story of ambition, power and seduction. Georges Duroy travels through 1890s Paris, from cockroach ridden garrets to opulent salons, using his wits and powers of seduction to rise from poverty to wealth, from a prostitute’s embrace to passionate trysts with wealthy beauties, in a world where politics and media jostle for influence, where sex is power and celebrity an obsession.
Uma Thurman is Madeleine, Kristin Scott Thomas is Virginie, Christina Ricci is Clotilde, Colm Meaney is Rousset, Philip Glenister is Charles and Holliday Grainger is Suzanne. The screenplay is written by Rachel Bennette from the novel by Guy De Maupassant. The film will expected this year or probably the next no release date has been finalized.
