First Look: James Franco in 127 hours

James Franco will be stuck for 127 Hours next.

Finally we have the first look from 127 hours. It is the new film by the Oscar winning director Danny Boyle. His next film is called 127 Hours.

It tells the story of Aaron Ralston that spawned this movie. It is about an American mountain climber who became trapped under a boulder while canyoneering alone near Moab, Utah and the desperate measures he took in order to survive.

Danny Boyle says it is an action movie where the hero can’t move. There will be a lot of tense desperation. “This movie is going to be obsessive, and it will be for obsessives,” Boyle told EW. “You will want to cut off his arm by the end.”

The cast also includes Amber Tambyln, Lizzy Caplan, Kate Mara and Clemence Poesy. The film also features two cinematographers Anthony Dod Mantle and Enrique Chediak and will predominantly follow Ralstom through first person dialogue. It is going to be really difficult to watch this film, but it might be worth the trip.

The film will be out in November in the US.
