Gemma Arterton plays it hard to get with a sexy look.

Gemma first starring role after the hugely successful James Bond appearance is Tamara Drewe. It is based on the graphic novel of the same name. The film will be produced by BBC.

Gemma Arterton will play Tamara as a teenager she had many issues with her towns people. So in her early twenties she turned herself into a hot stunning beauty with cosmetic surgery on her nose and she loses a lot of weight as well.

Tamara then returns back to her town from where she grew up and begins to have a string of relationships with the town folks. Tamara gets involved with three different men Andy played by Luke Evans: the dashing groundskeeper, then there is Ben played by Dominic Cooper: handsome rock band drummer and finally Nicholas played by Roger Allam: the philandering literary retreat organizer. Oh and also Nicholas ball and chain, the wife, played by Tamsin Greig.

The adaptation is based on the graphic novel by Posy Simmonds. Gemma said she knows a lot of people just like comic book gal Tamara. ‘Lost in her expectations of being a modern woman in today’s world – the expectations of beauty and success – when what really desires is to be loved’.

The film is directed by maestro Stephen Frears who is known for his work on outsiders. It will be out sometime next year. Gemma also has Prince of Persia coming out soon as well.
