First clip for the Scouting Boys

Thomas Turgoose shines in this beautiful film

We just dug up a clip for this debut feature by Tom Harper called Scouting Book for Boys. The clip is featured in the BFI site and can only be seen over there. The film stars Thomas Turgoose who is known for his films like This is England or Somers Town. It is a story of a boy who hides his friend.

David and Emily are best friends who have lived all their lives on a caravan park. When he finds out that Emily is going to be sent away. He helps to hid in a remote cave on the coast. It gets worse when the cops begin looking for her.

When the real reason Emily wants to escape comes to light, David’s world is shattered. Finally he is swept up by the situation and his feeling overcome everything.
