Elisabeth Shue joins Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence gets Elisabeth Shue to play her mother in the murder mystery film.

Elisabeth Shue will join Winter’s Bone star Jennifer Lawrence in her next film called House at the End of the Street. They will also be joined by Max Thieriot. The film will be directed by Mark Tonderai.

The film will center on a teenager who moves with her mom played by Shue. She moves to a new town and learns that their home is across the street from a house where a double murder took place. Complications begin to surface when the teen befriends the massacre’s sole survivor.

The film is adapted for the screen by David Loucka based on a story by Johnathan Mastow. The filming for the film is expected to start next month in Ottawa.
