Christian Bale seems to be a lock on the Best Supporting actor this year. His performance in the upcoming boxing drama has been getting a lot of buzz from all the good quarters. The new trailer premiered along with the season finale of the critically acclaimed series Mad Men.
The new trailer stars Mark Wahlberg, Amy Adams and Melissa Leo. This is mostly an Academy award nominated star cast. It is directed by the mad man David O. Russell. A look at the early years of boxer Irish Micky Ward and his brother who helped train him in the mid 80s.
David O. Russell took over the project after Darren Aronofsky left it. The film is written by Paul Tamasy along with Eric Johnson and Scott Silver. The film is expected to come out close to the Christmas season in the US.
