We had just got hold of some images from this film called Its Kind of a Funny Story. It gave a lot of good vibes now the trailer also plays to our fancy. Zach has been channeling the mad man quite well. He will be giving the tour for the young actor Keir Gilchrist as a stressed out teenager.
Keir’s character gets himself checked into a mental institution for five days. The institution has the hallmarks of all the cool things cinema seduces us with. A hot chick, interesting characters and a teenage protagonist who will bring the audiences to the theater: so what is really missing in this? There has to be something amiss here. It is directed by the duo that brought the heartwarming Half Nelson and the recent indie hit Sugar.
This is the new film by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and it stars a slew of great talent. It has Keir starring alongside Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts, Lauren Graham, Viola Davis and Jim Gaffigan. The film will be coming out in limited release on September 24 th.
