Bel Ami was the most talked about project for sometime now. The cast included Robert Pattinson and Nicole Kidman. But then Nicole walked out for the project for some weird reasons. Now to fill her shoes they brought on Uma Thurman.
So this sort of killed the buzz a little bit. But they recently announced the addition of Kristin Scott Thomas in the film. The film is an erotically charged story of ambition, power and seduction.
We had already told you the story behind this beautiful Guy De Maupassant story some time back. Thurman will now play the role of Duroy’s friend’s wife who helps Duroy to rise to power and later becomes his wife.
The film will be directed by Declan Donnellar, who is a theater director and will direct his debut film with this project.
