Leonardo DiCaprio looks into JFK assassination

Leonardo taking several historical steps.

Leonardo DiCaprio seems to be putting his name on so many projects so it is really hard to keep track of this guy. He is looking out for some interesting projects in the last couple of years. He has already set to play J. Edgar Hoover for Clint Eastwood.

He will be playing Henry Ford next to complete an informal trilogy of sorts. He will be producing this film and has not been cast in the film called Legacy of Secrecy. He will be playing the FBI informant Jack Van Laningham, who supposedly uncovered info about the assassination of the President.

It is based on the book called Legacy of Secrecy by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann. The book details the alleged trail of events in which key figures and actions of the FBI, CIA and mafia led to the death of JFK.

Leonardo is said to play the role of Jack Van Laningham, a onetime cellmate of Carlos Marcello to whom the mobster confessed having had a part in the killing of JFK. The film will be expected to hit theaters sometime in 2013. There is no screenplay till now for the film. So we will be able to confirm in the coming weeks. Leo is still not on any of his projects as of now except Hoover.
