Kate Beckinsale will be seen in Contraband next

Kate Beckinsale will have to prove that she is more than just a body.

Kate Beckinsale has not made anything of interest since her Last Days of Disco days. She still is a pretty face with minimal acting skills. Now she will be working on the English Language remake of Reyjavik called Contraband.

Beckinsale will be seen opposite the boring Mark Wahlberg in the thriller being produced by Working Title. The film follows on a security guard and former alcohol smuggler on the Iceland Netherland route who is tempted back into illicit business by a dubious friend after encountering financial problems. Baltasar Kormakur who acted in the original will be part of the cast and will also direct the film.
