Director James Wan is back with the sequel to Aquaman titled ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom‘. Jason Momoa reprises his role as Aquaman, Patrick Wilson as King Orm, Yahya Abdul-Matten II as Black Manta. Other notables actors include Nicole Kidman, Randall Park, Temuera Morrison and Dolph Lundgren. It remains to be seen if Amber Heard will return as Mera and there are rumors that Emilia Clarke could replace her. We also might get our last glimpse of Ben Affleck as the Batman as part of the DCEU.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is the last movie from the DCEU, which is set to end as James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DCU is gearing up to start a new universe, which will be kicked off by Superman: Legacy in 2025. It remains to be seen if Jason Momoa’s Aquaman will survive or be reset as part of the new DCU.
