Amanda Seyfried is gearing up for her next big box office hit.

The new makeover for the Red Riding Hood is going to be the most talked about and probably the biggest box office film of this year.

The new film is directed by Catherine Hardwicke from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson and is very loosely based on the folk tale Little Red Riding Hood.

Set in medieval village, Daggerhorn, Valerie falls in love with an orphaned wood cutter as a village is haunted by a werewolf. The villagers of Daggerhorn seek the assistance of a hunter to fight the creature.

The release date is March 11th 2011 and will be keenly anticipated.
