Jason Bateman has had a decent acting career and it looks like he is trying his hand at directing. His directorial debut Bad Words sees him play an ill-mannered foul mouthed 41 year old adult who enter the National Quill Spelling Bee and he wants to win it bad but faces competition when he reaches the national level.
The trailers looks funny and it does seem like Bateman has done an impressive job in shooting this film. Kathryn Hahn, Alison Janney and Rohan Chand also star in this film.
This movie will hit limited theaters on March 21st, 2014.
