The Reader producer makes Eva Braun

The producers of reader trying to stir up some more controversy with another film adaptation.

Michael Simon De Normier has acquired the rights to the biography of Eva Braun and her life with Hitler. The book is written by Heike B. Gortemaker and C.H. Beck.

The book was published earlier this month in Germany and is expected to be a bestseller and is supposedly the first academic study of Adolf Hitler‘s companion/wife. There have been loads of people who have wanted to make a film on this book for sometime now. I think it will be something to see this on screen.

The film will focus on Braun and will draw unwanted controversy as well, but Normier is going ahead in seeking a director and screenwriter for the project, which he currently has budgeted around 20 to 30 million dollars. He will also work in publishing the book in English also.
