A R Rahman became a household name after his Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack. But back home people are waiting for his next Bollywood soundtrack Rockstar. As the name suggests it is going to be a Rock musical unlike any other.
The film Rockstar is directed by Imitiaz Ali. This will be the first time he has worked with Rahman. He seems to be loving the Sufi element that the soundtrack has with Kun Faykun. But it will Sada Haq that will take the center stage almost everywhere. The song also features Orianthi who was a Michael Jackson find and was featured on his This Is It tour. The song shows how effortlessly she puts her mark on this song. It is certainly going to be a youth anthem in the coming months. The film is expected to hit theaters on 11 November 2011.
