Cate Blanchett will join Eric Bana in Hanna. The film will be another Saoirse Ronan vehicle after the hugely disappointing The Lovely Bones. The film will be directed by Joe Wright.
It tells the story of a 14 year old Eastern European girl saved from a CIA breeding camp and raised to be a cold blooded killing machine. After finding peace with a French family, the girl is dragged back to her father’s world and she must fight her way to free her life.
Little do we know about the Cate Blanchett link to the film? But there is a chance she might be playing the mother in this film. The film has been a called a mash up between a lot of the recent action films like Bourne series and Taken.
