The first Lady of France got her first day of shooting in the new Woody Allen film called Midnight in Paris. This is an acting debut alongside the likes of Owen Wilson. It was being shot in Paris. The shooting for the film lasted for several hours. It was at a small grocer’s store in the central fifth arrondissement.
The road was blocked off and bodyguards maintained a discreet presence as a crowd gathered to watch the shoot. The filming has been going on for almost a month in the city.
It is a romantic comedy, in which a couple sees their life disrupted by a trip to Paris. It also feature French stars like Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates.
