Brad Pitt joins Cogan

Brad Pitt seems to be working on the next Jesse James type film.

Brad Pitt is part of the big Dreamworks cartoon Megamind and will be playing a mob boss next. Pitt is looking out for a role as a mob enforcer in Cogan’s trade, a comedic crime saga that reteams Pitt with Andrew Dominik, who directed the star in the powerful film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Pitt would play Cogan, a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game under protection of the mob. Dominik will be directing the film from his own script, is also hoping to bring on board some stars from the Jesse James film, including Sam Rockwell and Casey Affleck. There is also a chance that Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem will also be part of the cast.
