Trailer Watch: Rapunzel reinvented as Tangled

Tangled looks just bad got to see something interesting soon.

Walt Disney is coming out with yet another silly age old tale for the kids out there in the state side. The animation looks alright but there is a really bad sensibility used for the film. The new film is trying to bring back some of the old glory that the studio had with films like The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and finally Aladdin. Recently we got to see the Princess and the Frog which was a decent enough upgrade to the age old story.

I really don’t know what to think after watching this really silly trailer. But Tangled seems to be a little too much what the name suggests. Here is the plot synopsis of the film.

When the rogue Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) chooses an isolated tower for his latest hideout, he has no idea the tower is already occupied by a princess who was kidnapped as an infant. Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), who can use her magical hair to heal, sees the devil-may-care bandit as her escape from the tower and a chance at a life of adventure – one that may reunite her with her long-lost parents and restore her royal heritage.

Disney has big plans for Tangled as it is set to hit theaters on November 24 th Thanksgiving weekend. It will be in 3D as well. So all the money registers will be clinging for all those foolish kids.
