Trailer watch: Biutiful stars Javier Bardem

Javier Bardem gives a tour de force in this new film by Innaritu.

Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu is trying to find his flow on his own. It is a great struggle for a director if his script writer has been thrown out. The last film the two of them had collaborated was Babel. So will they come back to revisit the magic they created for the big screen.

He has now found a new collaborator in Javier Bardem. The two of them showcased the film at the recent Cannes Film festival to a sea of bad criticism but Javier Bardem was praised for his great performance. The film contains some beautiful imagery which makes something of a great looking film.

In the trailer there is a voice over which gives us a mindscape which is something which Terrence Malick is famous for. It gives us a glimpse into the tension and nothingness of where the film wants to go. So it is good assortment of what to expect from this film.
