Tom Hanks has been circling around the next movie by the director of Hurt Locker. He wants a lock on the lead for the film called Sleeping Dogs. Kathryn Bigelow has been looking out for big stars to champion her next film.
The film is once again written by Mark Boal and will be set in the organized crime district between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil while focusing on the lives of five men who work in said area.
The film production is expected to start early next year. Tom Hanks is in talks with director to make this film. Leonardo DiCaprio has also shown some interest to the film. Kathryn has been looking out for stars in this new film and has already had talks with actors like Sean Penn, Javier Bardem, Christian Bale and even Will Smith. So it will be sometime before she gets the actors she needs for this film.
