The general consensus is that everyone wants Natalie Portman after seeing her in Black Swan. She seems to shine in this year’s Telluride Film Festival. She is already fighting for the role in the Alfonso Cuaron doomed project called Gravity along with Robert Downey Jr. Now there is news coming in Terrence Malick is also interested in her.
The film will be a Jerry Lee Lewis related project. The film was initially set up to star Dennis Quaid and Winona Ryder, but that fell through. The film will be now a lot darker than initially proposed.
Malick is interested in working with Brad Pitt to bring this project to life. She has received huge amount of acclaim after her lead role in Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan. The role will be undisclosed. Natalie Portman can really choose the stars for all she cares.
Malick is also set to start production on an untitled romance starring Ben Affleck, Rachel Weisz, Javier Bardem, Rachel McAdams and Olga Kurylenko. So the production will take its due course. There will be a chance that he might right of this new project and jump on board for the Jerry Lee project.
