The film will be a 70s coming of age tale Something in The Air. After his three part, six hour epic based on the life of Venezuelean terrorist Carlos the Jackal, Assayas is set to tackle something of a smaller scope. This is just great news to see him return back to the Summer Hours territory.
The story will center on the difficulties of freedom and follow an 18 year old as he reacts to the rapid social change and political activism that begun in the late 60s. It is also written by the director so it will certainly be something to watch out. The film will also feature English and Italian dialogue. Tell us what you think of this development.
