New Footage from Avatar re release

James Cameron gives us 8 minutes to get back to theaters.

After all the hype surrounding Avatar has been died down. It is really the time of Inception to cut it into half. Inception is using all the publicity it can get in the next coming weeks. It has already done enough to get a weekend total north of sixty million.

Now Avatar is still working on its publicity for the next couple of weeks. It will be released once again in the glorious 3D with a few extra scenes in select countries. The new film will give a little more from the world of Pandora. Here is a synopsis from the film.

When his brother is killed in a robbery, paraplegic Marine Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) decides to take his place in a mission on the distant world of Pandora. There he learns of greedy corporate figurehead Parker Selfridge’s (Giovanni Ribisi) intentions of driving off the native humanoid “Na’vi” in order to mine for the precious material scattered throughout their rich woodland. In exchange for the spinal surgery that will fix his legs, Jake gathers intel for the cooperating military unit spearheaded by gung-ho Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang), while simultaneously attempting to infiltrate the Na’vi people with the use of an “avatar” identity. While Jake begins to bond with the native tribe and quickly falls in love with the beautiful alien Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), the restless Colonel moves forward with his ruthless extermination tactics, forcing the soldier to take a stand – and fight back in an epic battle for the fate of Pandora.

Other than these people we have stars like Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Joel Moore, Laz Alonso and Dileep Rao. Check out the footage and see if you can see some of the new footage in it.
