This movie is not for the faint hearted. By that I mean you will cry from the trailer itself, well atleast most girls will. Sony has just released the first trailer for Lasse Hallstrom’s Dear John which stars Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried and Richard Jenkins.
It’s about two people who find themselves madly in love before Channing Tatum has to go back to Iraq, so they promise to keep in touch via writing letters. It is based on Nicholas Spark‘s novel of the same name. The movie looks well shot and some scenes really do look good. Richard Jenkins plays Tatum’s dad and it looks like hes got a hell of a role in this one. Channing Tatum has been showing up in a lot of movies lately, so hopefully his acting has matured a lot.
