Emma Stone in Easy A

Emma Stone shines in another role after her turn in Zombieland.

The trailer came out quite sometime back and it got me excited with the presence of the silly Emma stone. She is not a great actress or something but she does have the charm to pull a movie by her shoulders. The new film will be about The Scarlet Letter and it will take on the whole thing head on.

In this version it tells the story of Olive Penderghast, a high school student who decided to help out a bullied gay friend by pretending to sleep with him at a party thus boosting his rep, but it also gets her quite famous herself. She also becomes the object of desire of every horny male around.

The modern take does sound quite lame with the people turning out to be slightly matures than what happened to Scarlett in her life. Here is a new poster for the film which has been holding several special screenings. I think only reason some intelligent people will go for this is the presence of Patricia Clarkson and Stanley Tucci as the parents of Olive. There has also been some good buzz surrounding Amanda Bynes in the film.

John

John has a keen sense of what ticks in the world of film. He can also be seen in three distinct short film titled Woken Shell, The Tea Shop in the Moon and The Waiting. Cinema has been the basic diet he has been on for the last 10 years. His personality can be judged by the choices of his films.
