The Disney Panel at Comic Con gave everyone a big surprise featuring a video with Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The film features Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow talking about the movie. He also adds a shout out to Penelope Cruz who will be playing an important character in the film.
Along with Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow and Penelope Cruz there will be Ian McShane, Geoffrey Rush and Astrid Berges Frisbey as a mermaid. They are going to be making up the crew that will look out for the fountain of youth.
The film will be directed by Rob Marshall. It is difficult choice because his last film just went by without a sound. The filming will begin this summer and mostly in Hawaii. The film will also be done up in 3D. It is expected to come out at the beginning of summer on May 20 th 2011 next year. So we will have to wait it out a bit.
