Roadside Attractions just released the first trailer for director Guillaume Canet crime thriller Blood Ties. Set in the 70’s in New York City, the story follows Clive Owen and Billy Crudup who are brothers on opposite sides of the law. The trailer suggests that the movie is a thriller but early reviews have mentioned that the movie is more of an intense family drama. The film also stars Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Marion Cotillard, Noah Emmerich, and James Caan. I thought the trailer looked a bit generic for my taste but do let me know what you guys think.
Blood Ties releases in theaters and on itunes on March 21st, 2014.
