The McManus brothers are back. Finally, the highly anticipated sequel to the cult classic Boondock Saints gets a trailer. Some people like myself have been actually looking forward to this sequel since the day I saw the original. There is something about the original that I liked a lot. Maybe it was the excessive swearing or maybe it was just the style and panache of the main characters.
From the trailer it looks like this movie takes off when the previous one ended, with the son of the person who the saints had killed in the end of the original seeking revenge and payback. Lots of new cast to support the original cast but no Willem Dafoe in this one. Maybe Dafoe thought Antichrist was a fun movie to act in. The trailer kicks ass in typical boondock saints fashion and it doesn’t disappoint. I just hope that the plot is not too predictable from what is shown in the trailer.
