Argo has been a film in development for something now. Ben Affleck will be working on it in February. He has already cast Alan Arkin and John Goodman as the principal characters in the film. But the character of Tony Mendez is still to be cast.
Tony is the CIA exfiltration expert who created a fake Hollywood Production to get six Americans who were hiding out at the Canadian ambassador’s out of Iran. Affleck will now take on the lead role for the film.
George Clooney and Grant Heslov will putting on the producers cap for this new film. Chris Terrio wrote the script for the film. It is going to be an interesting plot, but the treatment will matter for this one.
