Nancy Kempf holds a B.A. in Literature and Philosophy from the Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts and she completed graduate studies (ABD) at the Universities of Arkansas and Oklahoma. She has taught English at the Universities of Arkansas and Oklahoma, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown – where she also taught Film as Literature – and St. Philip’s College in San Antonio, TX, and has written and lectured extensively on American and world cinema. She has worked as a curator and arts administrator for many years, and writes on film at My Own Private Cinema.
