Robin Wright wants Colin Firth for directorial venture

Robin Wright seems to be working on her own directorial venture next and trying to string together a cast for the film.

The film will be about the world of archiving. It will be directed by Robin Wright and it will be called The Archivist. The film will follow a premier archivist, who loses a precious account to his ex wife in the UK and ends up desperately trying to win back the account, and eventually his wife as well.

The genre of the film is not known. The directorial venture is still in negotiations to sign Colin Firth to the film. The film has a script by Ann Cherkis whose only credit is a David Duchovny film The Secret. So there is still a lot of work to be done to take this one of the floor.
