The explosions because of the 3D look quite unreal. Movie-making has become a gimmick in the last one year during the advent of this new technology. This film is quite simple it is called Drive Angry. So it comes and goes as the name suggests. The film is not shot in the glorious 3D. There is also not a shot of Amber Heard in this one.
Nicolas Cage stars as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out of hell for one last chance at redemption. It sounds like Ghostrider in reverse. His intent is on stopping a vicious cult who murdered his daughter; he has three days to find them before they kill her baby. So he is a granddad in this one.
Nicolas Cage is far too old to play this. He plays a father who drives crazy vehicles so that he can avenge his daughter’s death. There can’t be anything as dumb as that. The film is directed by Patrick Lussier, who also worked on Dracula 2000, White Noise and My Bloody Valentine 3D. The film is expected to roll out on February 11 th 2011 next year.
