Robert Duvall to join Utopia

Robert Duvall will be working on Utopia next another one of those clichéd Hollywood Productions.

Robert Duvall and Lucas Black to work on Seven Days in Utopia and production for the film will be starting as soon as tomorrow. The cast includes Deborah Ann Woll, Brian Geraghty and Melissa Leo. Utopia will be the third time Duvall and Black will be teaming up. The two of them have already worked on films like Sling Blade and the recent Get Low.

The film will be based on David L. Cook’s Golf’s sacred journey. Seven Days at the Links of Utopia. Matthew Dean Russell will be directing the movie based on a script from Cook and Rob Levine.

The story follows a talented young golfer set on making the pro tour. When his first big shot turns out to a very public disaster, he escapes the pressures of the game and finds himself unexpectedly stranded in Utopia, Texas, home to an eccentric rancher. Hollywood really can’t get tired of movies like this. So is there any hope in the future of films like this. Right now really care what future holds for this young golfer.
