Sean Penn will be working hard to bring this editorial masterpiece to the big screen.

Two big talents are said to join forces for a period drama. Sean Penn has already joined the film and Michael Fassbender will also be part of the cast. They will be playing couple of figures from the literary world.

Sean Penn and Michael Fassbender are interested in coming aboard Genius. The film will be adapted from the award winning non fiction novel Max Perkins: Editor of Genius by John Logan, Penn will play Max Perkins. Max is famous for working with award winning writers like F.Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway during his long career.

Fassbender will play another equally celebrated novelist Thomas Wolff, whom Perkins clashed with over numerous works. This looks like heavy stuff and should have the treatment to watch on the big screen. This will be an interesting clash to see on the big screen.
