The tone of the film has changed as it nears release. The American is the next action film from Anton Corbijn. His last film was Control and it has been a while since he has been working on this one. It looks thrilling, but the trailers have not been on the mark.
Latino Review has gotten hold of two new spots from the film. The trailers that came out earlier were a little too somber. Clooney does look the part, but will he be the only worth taking the trip to the theater.
