David Gordon Green got the rights to Suspiria

David Gordon Green gets scary with his soundtrack for Suspiria remake.

David Gordon Green is all set for the release for his next film Your Highness in the coming weeks. He was also working parallely to get hold of the rights of Suspiria.

He will also be looking out for a unknown lead for the film. He will also steer away from the ballet academy setting and that while it won’t follow the trend of the traditional horror movie of late, his vision is very faithful to the original even sharing the exact shots and dialogue and expanding on it and making it very artful. He will also be employing the help of Italian progressive rock band called Goblin.

“We got the rights to the Goblin score, so we’re going to use that,” the director explained to Movieline. “Steve Jablonsky, who did the score for ‘Your Highness,’ is incredible. So I would love to see what he would do with the Goblin music. We could start in a very faithful, synthesizer kind of world of music that Goblin does in the original film, and by the end of it turn that score into a huge opera, which would be incredible.”

So we will looking out for more news from the remake. Tell us what you think of this development.
