Colin Farrell offered Total Recall

Colin Farrell is still awaiting the right time to announce the Total Recall remake.

The studio bosses are after actors to take on a new remake for Total Recall. James Cameron must be really angry with these developments. They are indirectly saying that his movie was really bad. Farrell received the offer last week and has since been in negotiations with Sony.

He would play a man tortured by recurring dreams of a trip to Mars. The original role was played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender were also considered for the role.

The film will be directed by Len Wiseman based on a script by Kurt Wimmer. So they are going to destroy the Philip K. Dick book one more time. It is based on We can Remember it for you Wholesale. The film will be expected to hit theaters in 2012.
